Floor Jansen is cancer-free. The singer let Friday via Twitter know that during an operation “everything that is cancer” has been removed from her breast. The disease had not spread.
The 41-year-old frontwoman of the band Nightwish is still irradiated in February to “make sure everything stays away”.

The singer says that after the procedure of last month she is getting her energy back. She says she is very relieved that everything went well. “I’m not at 100 percent yet, but I have no doubt that the concerts will give me the strength to rock with all of you during the upcoming European tour.”
Jansen announced last month that she has cancer. The messages she has received since then are doing her good, she says. “Thank you for your great support and wishes for recovery.”
