A cinema icon, Angelina Jolie has already played memorable characters in the world of cinema. Now, the actress plays the opera singer Maria Callas in the film that will be shown at the Venice Film Festival, which takes place between August 28 and September 7. The actress has been showing herself to be even more adept at street style. In December of last year, Angelina was photographed in New York combining the style with a satin and embroidered piece.

The biopic of the American singer will be based on real events and will tell the entire story of the opera star until her last days in Paris. In addition to Angelina Jolie, the film features Haluk Bilginer and Valeria Golino.

“Maria” is written by Steven Knight and is set to premiere on August 29, 2024.
