Milton Nascimento announces extra shows for the “The Last Music Session” tour

Singer Milton Nascimento announced last Wednesday (18) that he will perform two more extra shows on his farewell tour in Brazil.

Last Sunday (15) the artist announced through his social networks that he would perform on a tour for the last time in his career. The icon of Brazilian music, released more dates for shows in São Paulo on September 1st and 2nd, in addition to the performances that he had already announced in the city that will take place on August 26th and 27th.

The shows in the city will be immortalized at Espaço UNIMED, formerly Espaço das Américas, which will remain etched in the memory of fans as the stage for the singer's farewell to the city's stages. Official sales for the August shows opened yesterday at 12pm, but after quickly selling out, the singer announced new dates.

When announcing the tour on social media, the singer wrote a message explaining that he could never end this part of his life that lasted so many years, the life of shows on the road, without paying tribute to those who always accompanied him, and he dedicated the tour to his fans.”And this tour was designed especially for you!” concluded.

Milton, who is known as “Bituca”, will also take the tour named “The Last Music Session” to Rio de Janeiro. In the wonderful city, the singer will perform on August 6th and 7th. However, he will also immortalize moments with his fans in his hometown, on November 13th, in a performance at the Mineirão Stadium, in Belo Horizonte.

The singer of the song “Maria, Maria”, one of the founders of the Minas Gerais movement “Clube da Esquina” and winner of five Grammy awards, will also bid farewell to the international stage. The artist will take the tour to the United States in October and will stop in Italy, the United Kingdom and Portugal. In total, there will be more than 15 shows in different cities.

After selling out 65,000 tickets in less than 6 hours, tickets for the extra shows are now available on the Ticket 360 website.
