Luísa Sonza recalls dark moments of her marriage with Whindersson Nunes

Luísa Sonza has had a lot to celebrate lately. With her new studio album “Sweet 22″the singer makes her comeback in great style and class, after spending a few weeks away from artistic life and social media — the young woman took some time to dedicate herself to recovering her mental health.

According to Sonza, the album was produced and created as a way for the public to see her with different eyes and so they could get to know her better.Maybe you don't understand anything about this album, or you understand it all wrong. Or maybe you can finally understand me,” the artist told the website E!.

Recently, the 23-year-old said in an interview with journalist Leo Dias that she suffered many cruel attacks during the time she was married to comedian Whindersson Nunes. She also said that many doubted her ability as an artist and as a person, and she had to prove to everyone and, especially, to herself that she was good at what she did and had enough talent to be where she was.

“At the time, I was always getting beaten up. I was the whore, the gold digger, the slut, the 'four-way fucker'. But those who get beaten up never forget it” (…) I was afraid to sing and I would hear: 'you sing badly, you are bad'. I had to prove to myself that I sing well and I sing well”, confided the artist.

The singer and the comedian announced their separation in April 2020, two years after their marriage. Both stated that they were divorcing amicably and that they held no grudges against each other, only affection and respect. After the breakup, Sonza began to suffer more and more cyberattacks, the crucial moment being after Whindersson and Maria Lina lost the baby they were expecting. The young woman began to be considered guilty of the incident, even though she had nothing to do with the story.
