Scary Trailer Haunts Netflix

The new series 'Hellbound', by Korean director Yeon Sang Ho (Zombie Invasion), had its trailer revealed by Netflix on Tuesday afternoon (26). With a premiere date scheduled to hit the streaming giant's catalog on November 19, the preview brings proof that hell really exists.

The plot, which addresses sin and fanaticism, tells the story of supernatural creatures who send individuals to hell, condemning them in a bloody manner. Driven by fanaticism, a group of followers of Jung Jinsu, leader of the religious organization “The New Truth”, decides to punish those who disagree with the divine will and transforms the world into chaos.

In the teaser released, we can see these mysterious beings and supernatural creatures condemning people to 'Sheol', killing them in a brutal way. Jinsu claims that only sinners are condemned and that such an event represents the divine will for human beings to become more virtuous. With a script written by Choi Gyu-seok, the new series features a top-notch cast that includes Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Park Jeong-min, Won Jin-a, Yang Ik-june, Kim Do-yoon, Kim Sin-rock, Ryu Kyung-soo, Lee Re and other exceptional artists.

'Prophecy of Hell' gained international prominence after receiving an invitation to participate in important festivals, such as “46th Toronto International Film Festival”, the “26th Busan International Film Festival” and the “65th London Film Festival 2021”. Check out the official trailer below:

The new production will be available on Netflix after its launch in more than 190 countries on November 19. After the great success of 'Squid Game', there are those who believe that 'The Prophecy of Hell' will be able to equal or surpass the series in terms of engagement and views.
