Check out the guests for the coronation of Charles III

In a much smaller coronation than her mother’s in 1953 – which received 8000 guests – Charles III expects the presence of 2000 guests on May 6th.

World leaders are some of the confirmed presences, among them the president Lula representing Brazil; The french Emmanuel Macron; the german Frank-Walter Steinmeier; and the polish Andrzej Duda.

Jill Biden will appear on behalf of her husband, Joe Biden, as a representative of the United States. Decision follows the tradition of the absence of US leaders at the coronation of a British sovereign.

As well as members of the government, organizations supported by the royal family and the British parliament. However, the invitation was not extended to fellow members of parliament.

Members of other Monarchies also received the invitation, as in the case of the Kings Felipe VI It is Letizia from Spain; the princes fumihito It is kiko from Japan; the princes Federico It is Maria from Denmark; the princes Albert II It is charlene from Monaco; and the king Abdullah II and the queen frog from Jordan.

One of the most commented figures, the prince harry, youngest son of Charles III, also confirmed his presence. Harry and his wife, Meghan, resigned, following which they began to openly criticize the monarchy and the royal family. However, Meghan’s presence is not expected.

Another controversy was the non-invitation of most of the British Dukes, following Charles’ wish for the list to be “meritocratic and not aristocratic”. Some of the uninvited Dukes expressed their shock and bewilderment at the news.

The celebration show features Katy Perry, Lionel Richie It is Andrea Bocelli. The absence of British music stars surprised the public, even more followed by rumors that big stars would have refused to participate in the coronation, one of the names mentioned being the singer Adele.
