Pedro Sampaio talks about the success of his first album

Pedro Sampaio has been present on several dance playlists since his first singles. After a series of highly successful songs, the 24-year-old DJ realized it was time to take a bigger step in his career, with the release of the album 'Chama Meu Nome'. In an interview, the singer also spoke about the decision to create the project. “I felt ready to make this album. I threw myself into this project, it's been a very important moment for my career, of consolidating my artistic self. The album brings me this possibility with concept, visuals”said Pedro about the launch.

The singer stated that the album should be felt by the public, so he explained how it should actually be heard. “The intention of the tracklist is to listen in order. It's bringing the experience of my show. The opening song already contextualizes the opening of these doors. Then you begin to understand the sensations, and all with joy with the energy up there. I thought about it that way”explained the singer.

On his first album, the artist managed to partner with big names in pop music, such as Anitta, Luísa Sonza, as well as the country singer Zé Vaqueiro, and the pagodeiro Ferrugem and much more: “The idea was precisely to have this mix of rhythms and mix it all together. The intention was to invite artists from different genres that I wanted to collaborate with. They are artists that I admire a lot. I wanted to take the essence of each one and put it into the creation of the music. In all the songs there is Pedro Sampaio there, but at different rhythms”said the DJ, who mixes electronic, pop, funk and brega funk in his creations.

In “Chama Meu Nome”, Pedro showed his full potential, after all, in addition to singing, he also produced, composed and dedicated himself to the project. “I am in the composition and production of all of them. And if I have the skills I'll be 360 ​​from my album. Everything has my hand there, because it is important. The fan wants to get my essence, my identity.”he declared.
