Rita Ora's look steals the show on the Met Gala 2024 carpet

The Met Gala took place this past Monday (06) in New York, the event is a large gathering of celebrities, stylists, models, musicians, among other personalities from the fashion scene. They parade with their looks normally signed by great designs on a very prestigious night, considered the Oscar of fashion.

The center of attention

British singer and songwriter Rita Ora, 33, was one of the guests at the 2024 Met Gala, she was accompanied by her husband, film director Taika Waititi.

Rita drew all the attention to herself, the look chosen was from the Italian luxury brand Marni, founded in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni in Milan, Italy. The set was designed by Tom Ford and Tom Erebut.

The outfit consisted of a dress with a deep slit, made of necklaces of various colors, which partially covered her body, leaving the rest of her sculptural silhouette exposed.

Regarding the stones used in her look, the artist said in an interview with People magazine: “Some of the pearls are bigger than any other on this planet.” This is because the beads used to create the clothing are from the 1st and 2nd centuries BC, which made its appearance even more surprising.

Complementing Ora's look, Waititi wore a brown leather suit, also from the brand Marni, with ties and gloves.

Deep crack and transparency

Rita Ora's look has more than one reason for being so noticed. In addition to the material used, other features were responsible for the praise, such as the deep slit and transparency contained in her proposal.

Through the slit, for example, Ora shows that it is possible to lengthen the silhouette, providing elegance and sensuality to your look, in addition to the transparency that adhered to all artistic expression that combined well with the theme proposed at the event.
