The Diablo 4 streamer, Rob2628summarized these findings in a video, and the moral of the story is that the last update didn’t increase the chances of drops much for anyone to rely on luck – the Über Uniques went from being rarities that only the most hardcore players saw in life to something quite difficult to happen, even for the most obstinate.

Each class has its own chances of finding these gems, because not all of them can use the available Über Uniques. So if you want to spend hours and hours exploring dungeons, you can go ahead, but know that spending dozens of hours to defeat Duriel (a boss that has a 2% chance of dropping these items) is already a real fortune.

There are people telling stories about having found Über Uniques after this last update, and everything matches Lothrik’s data. In fact, these rare treasures now appear outside the spawn area. Durielbut it’s still safer to stare at him repeatedly than to try anything else.

Season 4 promises huge changes to the way items work, in an attempt to save you time when organizing your inventory. It’s possible that the folks at Blizzard have grandiose plans for the Über Uniques to appear more, but for now, just keep working and hope that luck knocks at your door.
