Alter Arrives in Season 21 of Apex Legends

Apex Legends It's the game that keeps my reflexes sharper than a chef's knife! Since February 2023, the game has been somewhat at a standstill when it comes to new characters, with the Conduit being the last to enter the arena. But calm down, folks, EA doesn't sleep on the spot. A new legend called Alter is arriving with everything in Season 21, ready to shake up the structures of our beloved battle royale.

Who is Alter? Get ready, because Alter's story is more convoluted than an old video game cable. Trained from an early age to be an assassin, her life took a turn worthy of an eight o'clock soap opera when her own team of mercenaries betrayed her trust and killed her parents. Result? A legend with a thirst for revenge and a touch of identity, as the girl loves to invent a new life every time she is about to eliminate someone. And I thought that my hobby collect game editions ancient times was complex!

When Does Alter Enter the Game? Mark your calendar and set your alarm: May 7th. Season 21 will bring Alter and, apparently, a new way to play Apex. I'm still here, trying to digest the official trailer released on May 1st. I've seen more times than replays of memorable matches.

1. Passive Ability: Gift of the Abyss – Alter can pick up items (except armor) remotely by interacting with a Death Box. Have you thought? The looter party is going to be good!
2. Tactical Skill: Void Passage – Our assassin will be able to create portals through surfaces. Hello, tactical maneuvers and spectacular escapes!
3. Ultimate Ability: Void Nexus – A regrouping point that allows Alter and his team to travel back to where the device was placed. It's going to be the Uber of ultimate skills, you bet.

And what about Alter's appearance?

So far, we only have an image of her, but you can already see that she is half robotic, half human. Her robotic hand appears to be the command center for activating these abilities which, if they're as cool as they sound, will make her the queen of the block.

Then that's it, Apex Legends is about to receive an upgrade with the arrival of Alter. And I, how good player that I am, I'm already here, warming up my fingers and planning strategies. Let Season 21 come, and let Alter bring with it new challenges and, of course, that dose of chaos that every gamer loves! Get ready, because the game will never be the same!
