Director Says Clockwork Revolution Is The “Child” Of Vampire: The Masquerade And Arcanum

Director Chad Moore of inXile Entertainment said that Clockwork Revolution is like the “child” of Vampire: the Masquerade and Arcanum.

“With its deep world-building, compelling storytelling, RPG systems, immersive gameplay and massive reactivity, I’ve always described Clockwork Revolution as the child of Arcanum and Vampire: The Masquerade,” said Moore in the twitter.

“The project is led by director Chad Moore and designer Jason Anderson, who happen to create one of the greatest steampunk RPGs of all time – Arcanum,” said inXile head Brian Fargo. Xbox Wire when the game was announced last month.

“Clockwork Revolution takes place in the vibrant Victorian-era metropolis of Avalon, where steam trains fly, wealthy industrialists replace their limbs with prosthetics adorned with clocks, and mechanical workers tend to their masters’ every whim.”

“In uncovering Ironwood’s scheme, you will use a wondrous device known as The Stopwatch to travel through time, choose how to influence the past, and then return to the present to experience the consequences of your decisions.”

Clockwork Revolution will be released for Xbox Series and PC (Steam and Microsoft Store). The game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
