The journey to the BLAST R6: Major Manchester trophy is about to begin. From May 16th, the BEC Arena in England will become the epicenter of the global Rainbow Six Siege, bringing together 20 of the best teams from different regions of the world to compete for a total prize pool of US$750,000, the equivalent of around R$3.8 million.
Brazil, with a robust history in the game, is well represented with four qualified teams: FaZe Clan, which dominated the first stage of BLAST R6: Brazilian League undefeated; E1 Sports and FURIA, who won their places through the playoffs; and Team Liquid, who secured their position via Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
Historically, Brazil has stood out in the competition. In the last three Majors, Brazilian teams like W7M Esports emerged victorious on two occasions, in Atlanta and Copenhagen. The last edition, held in Jönköping, Sweden, saw Team BDS take the title after a close battle with Team Liquid.
