The biggest victims were women and the millennial generation

People born in the millennial generation, that is, those born between 1981 and 1996, lost around R$9.3 billion. Women were the ones who suffered the most from these scams and attempted scams. Many of these attempted scams come from theft of data, passwords and accounts, and thus criminals are able to access information to commit fraud using credit cards. ClearSale recommends that Internet users create stronger passwords and be careful with malicious links referring to promotions considered unmissable with prices below market value.
