Gabigol: his controversies and provocations against opponents

Last weekend, the Flamengo striker, Gabigol, was provoked by the Athletico Paranaense fans, there was a poster of the Hurricane fans, written: “Gabriel, our grass is worth more than you”.

The provocation was a response from Athletico fans, after the Flamengo striker’s statement, after the match against Racing, for the Libertadores Cup. When the striker stated that the synthetic grass at Athletico’s stadium was “horrible”.

Gabigol’s controversy and provocation against Athletico is nothing new against the striker’s opponents. In the classic against Botafogo, for the 3rd round of the Brazilian championship, the captain of Glorioso, revealed in an interview with “De Placa’, from TNT Sports.

On another occasion, after Flamengo’s 2-1 defeat by Atlético Mineiro, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the 2022 Copa do Brasil, Gabigol made a provocative comment to the Minas Gerais team: “When they go there they will know what pressure is and what hell is”.
