Melanie Martinez returns to Lollapalooza after 6 years!

The 10th edition of the Lollapalooza Brazil. The music festival takes place annually in São Paulo and brings together nationally and internationally successful artists. One of the main attractions this Saturday (25) was the New Yorker Melanie Martinez.

This was not the artist's first time in Brazil; in 2017, she had already presented her alternative pop at the festival. Just like in her debut, Melanie found an ecstatic audience that accompanied her in the lyrics of all the songs. In what can be called a “feat” with the audience, the artist repeated most of the setlist which continued at the Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina shows, also held this week.

The Brazilian performance lasted approximately 50 minutes, in which Melanie performed 14 songs that spanned her entire small – but renowned – discography.

The night started with the sound of “Dollhouse”, one of his most famous songs.

The hit was followed by “Soap”, “Mad Hatter”, “Play Date”, “Show & Tell”, “High School Sweethearts”, “Lunchbox Friends”, “Death”, “Battle of the Larynx”, “Tunnel Vision”, “Fairy Soiree”, “Evil” and the recently released “Void”.

In a night of little “chat” and a long sequence of performances, the 27-year-old only spoke to the audience, in fact, to say goodbye.

“Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart: I love you, I love you, I love you. I haven't been here in years and it's so beautiful to be back and see your beautiful faces everywhere. Thank you again for making this night so special and growing with me on this journey. I love you, I love you, I love you! I can't say it enough.”, he said before leaving the stage.

Throughout the performance, Melanie wore a facial prosthesis. The mask is the same one used by the singer on the cover of “Portals”, next studio album scheduled for release on March 31, 2023.

In addition to Melanie Martinez, the second day of the event welcomes big names from the music industry such as Ludmilla, The 1975, Melanie Martinez, Pitty, Filipe Ret, Tássia Reis and other major attractions Twenty One Pilots It is Tame Impala.
