Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software released this Friday (5) versions of Hogwarts Legacy for PS4 and Xbox One. They came with a robust patch that brings a myriad of repairs and improvements for the game on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
A game mode has also been added for users who have arachnophobia, making the appearance of spiders less intimidating, reducing and removing the noises they make, completely removing the effects of spiders being born and making spider corpses scattered throughout the game world invisible .
Avalanche said that it is still possible to bump into spiders’ invisible bodies to prevent players from getting trapped when using this mode, and that the spider images in the Field Guide have not been changed.
Hogwarts Legacy has sold over 12 million copies since it was released and has grossed over $850 million in sales, making it Warner’s most successful release to date. It was also the most successful PC title in Q1 of this year.
The Switch version is due out on July 25th.
