Rafa Kalimann reveals shocking reason for keeping her ex-husband's surname

At age 30, influencer Rafa Kalimann revealed that she felt “lazy” to remove her ex-husband's surname. She shared that she still keeps the surname of country singer and ex-BBB Rodolffo Matthaus, 34, from whom she separated in 2018. Rafa intends to officially change his surname in the documents, especially thinking about the future, when he has children. However, the bureaucracy involved in this process has been an obstacle for her. During a recent interview, she mentioned the difficulty of changing all the documents as a reason for her procrastination.

During his participation in the podcast “PocCast”, Rafa Kalimann revealed his real name as “Rafaela Freitas Ferreira de Castro Matthaus”. She explained that the name Kalimann is just a stage name she adopted as a child, figuring it was necessary to have a stage name, just like many other people. This revelation was made during the podcast interview, providing more information about her identity and origin.

Rafaela and Rodolffo separated in 2018, but it took another two years to finalize the divorce documents. They made their separation official in 2020, after a wedding in 2016, in Aquiraz, Ceará. The influencer explained that despite being an amicable separation, the delay was due to the former lawyer's lack of agility in preparing the papers.
