Naiara Azevedo records audiovisual on the banks of the Araguaia River

It's no secret that Naiara Azevedo is a phenomenon! With over 3 billion views on her YouTube channel alone and accumulating great successes, the singer recorded a new audiovisual to mark her new phase, where she is 100% ahead of her career. Entitled “Araguaia”, the project was recorded last Tuesday (06), at the famous “Praia do Cerrado”, located on the banks of the Araguaia River, in Aruanã/GO, with a beachy and intimate vibe. Naiara received Roberta Miranda, Clayton & Romário and Fred & Fabrício and, together, they re-recorded great hits of sertanejo and MPB, in addition to unreleased tracks that promise to be released next summer.

The singer, who is from Paraná but was named a citizen of Goiás, saw no better place for this recording than this state that welcomes her so well and is known as “the land of the sertanejo”. The DVD was filmed in a camp on the banks of the river, with a magical and paradisiacal setting that took over the surroundings of the stage with rays of sunlight and abundant nature.

Before recording, there was a two-day immersion with fellow composers, from which songs for his next unreleased project emerged.

Very happy with this new step in her career, Naiara shares: “one of the strongest aspects of the culture of the state of Goiás is the “Araguaia season”, which is basically the time of year when the river’s waters recede and form the famous “cerrado beaches”. People gather in camps and enjoy the holidays with lots of fishing and fun. I’ve lived in Goiânia since 2015, but it was only this year that I had the opportunity to visit the Araguaia River, and I really fell in love! That’s when the idea came to me to take advantage of this season and record a project there. The simplicity of an intimate country project combined with the river as a natural setting is something that sums up my essence. Every detail of this project was very special and magical, thank you to everyone who was with me and made this moment unique”.

“When we received the invitation to record this song, we accepted right away,” says Clayton. “It’s an honor to sing alongside this woman who inspires our genre so much. It was amazing! People are going to really enjoy this partnership,” adds Romário.

To make this recording even more special, Naiara had a great team behind the entire production. Newton Fonseca was responsible for the musical production, André Caverna was responsible for the video production and the artistic production of the project was handled by Rafael Vannucci.
