Anitta makes a sensational debut at the VMAs alongside TOMORROW X TOGETHER

This Tuesday (12) will be the Video Music Awards, a coveted MTV award ceremony. Held in New Jersey, in the United States, the event will feature a performance by Nicki Minaj and will bring together several artists, including Anitta, who intends to debut a new song with the Korean group TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

In addition, the Brazilian is also competing in the category of “Best Latin Video” with “Funk Rave”. The leader in nominations for the award is Taylor Swift, in eight categories, followed by SZA, Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Sam Smith, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and Nicki Minaj.

The awards ceremony will take place this Tuesday (12) and will start airing at 7:30 pm (Brasília time), with some opening performances and a presentation by Sabrina Carpenter and NLE Choppa. However, the event itself will only take place from 9 pm and will be broadcast by MTV and Pluto TV, on the MTV Pluto TV channel.

In addition to Anitta's performance with TXT, which has already been previewed on social media, other artists are expected to take the stage at the awards ceremony. Among the names expected are Demi Lovato, Måneskin, Stray Kids, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne, Olivia Rodrigo and even Karol G and Shakira, who are competing in the Latin category with Anitta.

In addition to “Back For More”, the singer’s partnership with the K-Pop band, the Brazilian is also expected to present a medley of her songs from the EP “Favela Love Story”. The singer released a snippet of a rehearsal for the show where she performs “Funk Rave”, and she may take the opportunity to also release the new singles “Casi Casi” and “Used To Be”.
