Charles Crowned: Fans Remember Diana

At the moment the King Charles III was crowned, another name was the most mentioned on social media. It was his ex-wife's name, Lady Diwhich was remembered by internet users around the world.

During the coronation of Camilla, many people were outraged by the title given to Charles' ex-lover. Throughout their marriage, Diana accused the prince of having an affair with his current wife.

The current king of England's marriage to Lady Di lasted 15 years. The union that produced two heirs to the royal family has always been in the shadow of Camilla Parker-Bowles.

At the Twitteranother netizen said, “This woman made Diana's life so miserable and in the end she won… but she will never have Lady Di's relevance and charisma”. Harry and William's mother died in a car accident in 1997, in the city of Paris. She was accompanied by her boyfriend, Dodi Al-Fayedwho also died in the accident.

Kate Middleton, wife of Prince William paid tribute to her late mother-in-law in a discreet way. She wore earrings that belonged to Diana.

The makeup artist and photographer Fernando Torquato also showed his indignation. “Anyone who lived through the Lady Di era cannot look like that lady”.

Another famous person who defended Diana, even if silently, was Elton John. The singer, who was a great friend of Charles' ex-wife, declined the invitation to sing at the coronation ceremony of the new King of England.
