Katy Perry opts for extravagant and flashy looks in recent appearances

Katy Perry (39) surprised everyone once again with a controversial look at a recent event. After a two-year hiatus from her career, the American artist returned to the spotlight with a vengeance, wearing extravagant looks full of personality. The pop diva has been making appearances at several fashion events. She caused a stir when she appeared wearing only a fur coat and ripped tights at the Balenciaga show during Haute Couture week in Paris, France. Katy also opted for a new look and adopted a darker hair color.

Last Tuesday (25), as a way to promote her new single “Woman's World”, she chose a long red dress that had excerpts from her new song throughout the piece. The piece caught the attention of fans who were super excited on social media and directed a flood of compliments to the singer. On X – formerly Twitter -, internet users wrote: “That was so iconic”, “Marketuda YES, she knows how to be a pop diva“. At a more recent event, Katy appeared wearing white heels with a ring detail on one of the fingers and a beige dress. The pop star opted for a comeback in the piece that was famous in the mid-1990s – which is considered controversial and hated by some.

“Woman's World” is the first single released from the singer's new album “Get Ready to Pop Off”. The song is scheduled to be released on July 11th and the singer's fans are super excited for this return. Some are even helping to promote it. It will be the pop star's first release since her fifth album “Smile”, released in 2020. She shared a snippet of the song on her social media, lip-syncing the audio. Also in the post, she appears in one of the looks she wears in the track's artwork.
