The perfumer Navarro gives the following tip: “The idea is that you can use essences to intensify existing notes in perfumes: if you want to make the smell more cheerful, you can sprinkle bergamot, if you want something more romantic, use rose”.

On the other hand, the Dior Beauty fragrance ambassador, Pablo Schenfeld, says that you can also choose opposite fragrances, for example, a feminine and a masculine perfume, to make a combination, because, according to him, “opposites attract”.

“Choose a perfume with notes that recall the feminine, like rose or jasmine, and another more masculine one, with woods and spices. This combination creates a very unique fragrance, full of seduction and magnetism.”.

Do you have the right way to apply the “mixture”? It does not have a certain form, but it has suggestions that are more assertive. One of Pablo’s suggestions is that, for each spray of perfume with a more intense fragrance, two sprays of perfume with a milder fragrance should be given. “If you’re going to use one spritz of the intense, use two of the light. Otherwise, the first will make the second disappear.”

Another suggestion is not to apply both perfumes in the same place on the body. Set a place to apply perfumes with intense fragrances, and soft ones in another, so when you move the fragrances mix in the air.
