Al-Hilal beats Al-Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo is moved to tears

Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal decided this Friday (31), in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi King's Cup. Al-Hilal's team, led by Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, prevailed on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time. In penalties, CR7's Al-Nassr wasted three penalties, finishing runner-up.

Cristiano Ronaldo emotional

At the end of the penalty shootout, Cristiano Ronaldo was seen crying on the field after his team's defeat. The Portuguese player, at 39 years old, with a resume full of titles around the world, still feels like a young man after losing a championship.

As soon as Al-Nassr's defeat was confirmed, the player with five Ballon d'Ors was seen with tears in his eyes. CR7 was comforted by teammates and sat on the bench, where the crying continued.

Cristiano Ronaldo played the 90 minutes of the game plus both extra-time periods. In the penalties he converted his kick, but saw his teammates Alex Telles, Al-Hassan and Al-Nemer up close and wasting their kicks. On Al-Hilal's side, R. Neves and Abdulhamid missed their penalties. Al-Hilal's victory by 5×4 and another title for the team of Neymar and Jorge Jesus. The champion team had already won the Saudi championship.

Prize rebate

During the awards ceremony, Cristiano Ronaldo looked very dejected upon receiving the runner-up awards. In silence and without smiles, Ronaldo received the runner-up medal from the hands of Saudi Prince Mohammad Bim Salman along with a small trophy and left the stage without much of a wave.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Al-Nassr, this was the Portuguese's sixth clash against Al-Hilal. The numbers are not good, just one victory for the CR7 team, there were two other draws and three defeats. In the confrontation against his rival, Ronaldo scored two goals.

Despite another runner-up finish, the Portuguese ends the season as the top scorer in an edition of the Saudi championship with 35 goals scored.
