Melody's presence on Anitta's tour in Salvador was cancelled

Singer Melody, 16, had her presence confirmed on the “Rehearsals of Anitta” tour, as an attraction that would be present on January 6, in Salvador. However, for legal reasons, in the early hours of this Friday (22), her presence was canceled, since at the event, there will be sale of alcoholic beverages and because she is a minor, Melody's attendance is prohibited.

The event organizers themselves announced the news through an official statement. The other confirmed names, Dilsinho and Solange Almeida, who were also confirmed for January 6th, will be present without any problems.

Partnership between the singers

It is important to highlight that one of the singer Melody's last works was in October of this year, when she released the song “Cara de Anjo”, which contains a sample of the song “Meiga e Abusada” by Anitta herself. In the song “Cara de Anjo”, Melody credits Anitta as one of the composers of the song, implying that she had the authorization from her to use the sample and that this may have started a partnership between the two singers.

Melody is at this point in her career, aiming to use samples from several famous songs, already known to the public and give her own touch to the song, giving the song her personal taste and leaving the public with a certain nostalgia for “reliving” the song.

Controversies

It is worth remembering that in recent years, the two singers have exchanged several barbs on the internet, including on issues of plagiarism that the young singer has been involved in in the past, using melodies and parts of famous songs without being authorized to do so, or not giving due credit, unlike what happened in this last case.

During a podcast interview with Blogueirinha, Anitta commented on the subject, where she praised Melody, but that despite there being songs in which she herself prefers Melody's version, there is a whole legal process to make these types of versions.

In the interview, which aired in October, Anitta also stated that she would be willing to be her professional partner's manager, something that is being speculated by some media outlets on social media. The singer's manager is currently her own father, Belinho.
