Klopp and Salah clash on the pitch during Liverpool's draw

This Saturday (27), Mohamed Salah and Jürgen Klopp clashed on the edge of the pitch. Salah started on the bench. However, the two had a disagreement when the star entered the field. He shot the coach and from then on, they started an argument caught on camera. At one point, the player approaches the coach, but is repressed.

The game defined Liverpool's fortunes as they drew 2-2 with West Ham in London in the Premier League. The German coach's team, in theory, said goodbye to the dream of the English title. Bowen and Michail converted for the home team, while the Reds' goals came from Robertson and Areola (own goal).

What happened next

Regarding the cause of the incident, when asked after the match, Klopp minimized the incident.

“We talked in the locker room. For me, it's resolved” — said Klopp, to broadcaster TNT Sports. The tone of the statement, however, did not seem the same as Salah's, when he left the stadium dodging the press. Salah seemed uncomfortable with the discussion, but found time to declare:

“If I talk it will catch fire” — he stated, with a very dark expression.

Liverpool gets complicated

The episode brings tension to Liverpool. With this stumble, away from home, Klopp's team certainly got complicated in the fight for the Premier League title. It is certain that the German coach will leave the club at the end of the season. According to the English tabloids, Salah will be one more to go to Arab football.

With the draw, the team remains at 75 points (3rd place) while Arsenal leads with 77 points, with one game less. Until the end of the Premier League, Liverpool faces three more rivals: Tottenham, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton.
