EMA 2021 will have a presentation by Manu Gavassi, nominations from Brazilian artists and much more

Next Sunday (14), the EMA 2021 will take place, an MTV music award that will be held this year in Budapest, Hungary. The event will be presented by Manu Gavassi, Rita Ora, Winnie Harlow, Ryan Tedder, Drew McIntyre, Olly Alexander It is Joel Corry and will have rapper, actress and entrepreneur Saweetie as host. Furthermore, the rapper will perform live and warned that her performance might have some surprises:

“Anything can happen at the MTV EMA. The EMA celebrates the universal language of music for all the world to see and I can't wait to host it because I have my surprises!”, he said.

The event will also feature performances by Ed Sheeran, Kim Petras, Imagine Dragons, YUNGBLUD, Griff, OneRepublic, Maluma, Måneskin and girl in red.

Manu Gavassi also spoke about the event, reacting to the news that he would be one of the people to present the award: “I've tried to record this video several times, but I'm embarrassed. I just woke up and I'm very grateful and very happy, because the EMA just announced that I'll be on the EMA stage, which is very surreal. It's a really cool recognition of my effort and my work. I didn't really believe it, but now they posted it, so I think it has to be real”he commented.

The Brazilian will also compete for an award in the Best Brazilian Artist category, alongside Anitta, Ludmilla, Luísa Sonza and Pabllo Vittar.

Justin Bieber is the artist with the most nominations in this year's edition, competing in eight categories. The awards show will air on the 14th at 5pm on MTV and Pluto TV and the pre-show, on the red carpet, will be broadcast from 4pm.
