BTS just reached another impressive new milestone on the Spotify streaming app. This Saturday (27), the K-Pop stars surpassed the mark of 22 billion streams on the platform, an unprecedented milestone for any musical group in the world.

This year's American Music Awards Artist of the Year winners had already made history in September, when the group hit the 20 billion streams mark on Spotify and, just two months later, they added another 2 billion reproductions, thus increasing their own record.
BTS's Spotify page is truly surprising: The group is the 31st artist in the world, with a total of 40,817,242 monthly listeners. Furthermore, the music “Dynamite” has more than a billion reproductions and “My Universe”the group's most recent release in partnership with British band Coldplay, already has more than 200 million streams in just over a month after its release.
Currently, the group BTS is in Los Angeles in the United States for a series of four in-person shows after two years away from the stage and having their world tour “Map of the Soul” canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Titled “Permission to Dance On Stage” the BTS mini-tour has already had two of its shows held respectively this Saturday (27) and this Sunday (28). Last night, the group had rapper Megan Thee Stallion as a guest on their stage to present their partnership on the hit song “Butter” which was expected at the American Music Awards but ended up not happening due to a personal problem for the rapper.
BTS will perform in two more final shows of their mini-tour in Los Angeles next Wednesday (1) and Thursday (2), and it is possible to follow Thursday's show online via the Weverse app.
