Thales Bretas celebrates the birthday of Dona Dea, mother of Paulo Gustavo
Last Saturday (17), dermatologist Thales Bretas, widower of comedian Paulo Gustavo, used his official profile on social media to share the birthday celebration of Dea Amaral, mother of his ex-partner. On the occasion, Thales made a point of honoring the actress and singer by taking little Romeu and Gael, the fruits of her relationship with Paulo Gustavo.
To thank and celebrate the presence of her grandchildren and son-in-law, Dea posted on her Instagram an image of the two of them blowing out candles next to her – “Grandma's loves singing happy birthday. Grandma loves you. Thank you @juamaral00 and @thalesbretas”, commented the artist.

Thales also shared a series of images on his Instagram with the actress and mother-in-law, congratulating her on another year of life. “Congratulations to this Virgo who organizes everyone's life! Fun, strong, electrifying… lively, she loves life like no one else! Her energy is contagious to everyone around her… and her fun and loving way inspired the most famous mother in Brazil!”, began the dermatologist.

“I am very grateful to you, your existence and so much love that you brought to my life, with my family who is my greatest asset in the world! Health, joy and even more strength, always. Count on me” concluded Theles in the caption of the publication in which he shares the carousel of random moments with Dea Amaral.
Dona Dea, as she is also known, served as inspiration for Paulo Gustavo in the creation of the character Dona Hermínia, from “Minha Mãe é Peça”. Regarding the creation of his son Dea Amaral, he said – “The character of Dona Hermínia was inspired by me because I wake up, put rollers in my hair so I can go out. And, if I'm going out in the morning, I go to sleep with my hair already rolled up”, he concluded.

Dea Amaral lost her son, comedian Paulo Gustavo, in May 2021, to Covid-19. At the time, the actor was admitted to the hospital on March 13, 2021, and spent more than 50 days in hospital fighting the disease. However, on May 4 of the same year, the artist did not resist the complications of the infection caused by the Corona Virus, passing away at the age of 42.
