Group has the highest number of views in the history of Youtube

The k-pop group BTS (Bangtan Boys) became, this Friday (12), the most watched in the history of Youtube. The numbers include all views on the official channel and all content on boy band on the video platform, totaling 26,737.2 billion views. The music videos for “DNA”, “Boy With Luv” and “Dynamite” have more than 1.4 billion views, being the most watched of BTS. Thus, Justin Bieber now occupies the second place and Ed Sheeran is in the third position, with about 26 billion views each. The top 5 is completed by Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. So far the Bangtan Boys have released five studio albums in Korean and five albums in Japanese. In addition to EPs, single albums, repackage albums and singles in Korean, Japanese and English.

Launched in 2012, the seven-member group has won fans all over the world and is considered the most influential of today. It was named by Forbes Korea Power Celebrity the most powerful celebrity in South Korea. The magazine Billboard compared the US public's reaction to the euphoria caused by the Beatles in the 1960s. In addition to winning dozens of South Korean awards, BTS won four consecutive editions of the Billboard Music Awards as Best Social Artist and Top Duo/Group. The band has collected several awards from MTV Awards European, American and Latin American, as well as radio and television awards Nickelodeons Kid's Choice Awards in five different countries.

Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the performance that will take place in Busan, South Korea. The performance, which aims to promote the country as a candidate for the 2030 World Expo, will be free of charge. According to the magazine Koreaboo the HYBE Corporation agreed to a free event and predicts the show will be the biggest in Busan's history.
