SZA releases covers for her new album “Lana”

The singer SZA published on her Instagram this Sunday, the 10th, six versions of covers for her future album “Lana”, which will be a deluxe version of the album “SOS”. No release date was confirmed, and all posts read “Lana” as caption.

SZA also posted on her Instagram celebrating the anniversary of the big hit “SOS”. “A day late, but happy 1 year anniversary to an album that is actively changing my life. I haven't processed it this year because it's still happening. This is beyond my wildest dreams. I never imagined we would get a fraction of the accolades that came from it. It often doesn't feel real and it's funny because I swore I would know what to do if that happened. Turns out I froze. I know the dangers of drinking the kool aid, so I'm not going to get involved in that, but I have to express the immense gratitude I have for every person who made this possible. Muslim origin

SZA's given name is Solána Imani Rowe. She was born in the state of Missouri, in the United States, and is 34 years old. Her father is Muslim, but SZA stopped wearing Hijab when she was still in school. She started singing in the early 2010s, but success only came in 2017, when she released the album titled “CTRL”.

Since then, SZA has received nominations for a Grammy, the music industry's top award, a Golden Globe and an Oscar; In these last two cases, the nomination came from the song “All the stars“, movie soundtrack “black Panther”.
