After packaging issues, Boca Rosa postpones brand launch

In June, influencer Bianca Andrade, better known as Boca Rosa, launched her independent brand, unrelated to Payot, in a live launch event that allowed customers to pre-order. However, what was supposed to be a moment of celebration turned into frustration for hundreds of consumers who received their products, especially the foundation and blush stick, damaged.

Problems reported by consumers

After the products were delivered, many customers took to social media to express their dissatisfaction, sharing photos and videos showing broken packaging and damaged products. The backlash was significant, leading the Boca Rosa brand to remain silent for a few days in the face of criticism.

After a period of silence, Bianca Andrade officially announced that the brand will refund the money of customers affected by the packaging problems. In a statement posted on social media, the company stated that it is working to resolve the issue with the manufacturer responsible for the defective packaging.

“This week we were surprised by a fault in the packaging of some of the sticks. We immediately visited our manufacturer to understand what had happened and they promised to solve the problem”stated the official statement from Boca Rosa. In addition to the refund, the brand decided to postpone the official launch, originally scheduled for the 10th, until the packaging issue is completely resolved.

Procedure for affected consumers

To request a refund, Boca Rosa advised customers to contact the company via email at atendimento@bocarosa.com.br. Customers must provide information such as the order number, a photo or video of the damaged product, the batch number, and personal information. The company has committed to analyzing each case individually, following its established return policy.
