Apex Legends Global Series heads to Mannheim, Germany

From August 29th to September 1st, the imposing SAP Arena will be the stage where the best teams of Apex Legends from around the world will face off in an epic battle, with a total prize pool of USD $1 million and the coveted Playoffs trophy at stake.

John Nelson, Senior Director of Esports – EA Entertainment, expressed his excitement: “The Split 2 Playoffs mark the highly anticipated return of Apex Legends esports to Europe and our first ALGS event in Germany. With previous stops in the UK, US and now Germany, we’re continuing to bring more ALGS action to more fans around the world.”

The majestic SAP Arenaone of Germany’s largest and most modern entertainment venues, will host this historic event. Accustomed to hosting both renowned sports teams and iconic music acts, the SAP Arena is set to transform into a true digital gladiator arena, marking the first professional esports event to take place on its premises.

The 40 best teams in Apex Legends from six different regions will be back on the main stage for this second Playoffs event of the year. Get ready to see heavyweight teams like Team Falcons, Fnatic, Fennel, Legend Gaming and many others fighting tooth and nail to secure a place in the ALGS Championship.
