Foo Fightersfounded and led by singer, drummer and guitarist Dave Grohl, returns to Brazil four years after their last performance at Rock in Rio 2019. Roberto Medina, creator and president of the two major national events, celebrated: “Announcing the first headliner for the first edition of a new festival is a moment that will go down in history! Only those who were there and experienced the first edition of Rock in Rio in 1985 know and will never forget it. At that time, we announced Ozzy and Queen as the first headliners and, today, the day after the anniversary of Rock in Rio, we have the great pleasure of creating yet another unique moment, on an emblematic date, and announcing this group that, I have no doubt, will deliver a very exciting performance. The Town's dream is taking shape.”

It is worth remembering that The Town will take place on September 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, and aims to receive around 500 thousand people, presenting shows by the biggest names in the music industry on its five stages. Singers Iza and Criolo have already been confirmed, in addition to a special performance by the brilliant artist, Ney Matogrosso.
