In Éder's farewell, Criciúma beats Atlético-MG and distances itself from the Z-4

This Saturday, the Criciuma received, in the Heriberto HülseO Atletico-MG for the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship 2024. Withstanding the pressure from Galo, Tigre was effective and scored two goals in a row to kill the game.

Atlético-MG started the match against Criciúma with more possession of the ball and greater intensity in the offensive plays. In the first minutes, Paulinho, Spider It is Alan Franco had good opportunities to open the scoring for Galo, but the goal did not come.

Criciúma's defense stood out when it saved an Atlético-MG attack on the goal line, with the ball still touching the crossbar, but without entering the goal defended by Gustavo. In the final minutes, Galo intensified its offensive attacks and, in injury time, Cadu reduced the difference in the score by heading in a cross from Fuchs. However, the goal was not enough to prevent Atlético-MG from losing, as the match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Criciúma. Check out some details about the match:
