Julieta Venegas wins Best Pop Vocal Album

It's today! Today is the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, taking place for the first time directly from Seville, Spain. It is the first time in the history of the awards that it is being held outside the United States.

Brazil, in addition to being present at this year's nominations, is also part of the ceremony's presentation, represented by Anitta, Tiago Iorc, Criolo and Rachel Reis, who share the stage with Danna Paola, Sebastían Yatra, Paz Vegas and Roselyn Sánchez, co-hosts of the big night. For the first year, Latin America's most important awards ceremony is being broadcast live on Canal BIS and on Globoplay, which is open to non-subscribers, starting at 10:30 p.m., Brasília time.

Best Pop Vocal Album

The album “Your Story” Julieta Venegas won the category of “best pop vocal album”, and the winner of the category was announced by Brazilian Tiago Iorc. The Mexican singer, when she went on stage, asked about her producer Alex and said that he also deserved to go on stage to receive the award. This is the first statuette that Julieta Venegas has received; the singer was also nominated in the category of “best pop/rock song”. Julieta Venegas came to Brazil this year with the tour of the same name as the album.
