Luísa Sonza wins gold certificate with 8 million streams

This Wednesday, the 27th, it was revealed that “Cachorrinhas”, a song by Luísa Sonza, received the gold certificate, only nine days after its release, to achieve this career milestone it is necessary for the artist to receive eight million reproductions.

On Spotify alone, the song receives more than a million streams daily, while on the platform's global chart it debuted at position 81, thus consolidating the highest peak ever reached by the singer. In national territory “Cachorrinhas” is in first place for the eighth consecutive day. On YouTube, it ranks among the three most played videos in the country, and has accumulated more than ten million views.

“Cachorrinhas” is produced by the electronic music group TROPIKILLAZ, formed by Laudz and DJ Zegon. Luísa took a risk with a trap sound, after releasing “sentaDONA (remix)” singing a rap that left Gaúcha fans surprised by the bet.

In the music video, Sonza once again bet on performing the choreography on the floor, after the “sentaDONA” challenge went viral and collaborated with the promotion of the song. It is also possible to see the participation of the dogs that the singer owns Gisele Pinscher, Britney Spinschers and Duda Beainscher, the lyrics contain an allusion to their personalities compared to Luísa's friends. Following the tradition that Luísa introduced into her career last year, of releasing some content for her fans on her birthday, July 18th, the music video was released on the day, just like in 2021 when she released her second album “Doce 22”.

Sonza at the end of last month participated in LudSessions, a project by singer Ludmilla, and also launched the music video for the collaboration between the two in February this year “Café da Manhã”. Last Valentine's Day she participated in the melancholic “Hotel Caro” with Baco Exu from Blues.
