Marina Rui Barbosa reveals she had low self-esteem: “I was insecure”

Actress Marina Rui Barbosa answered questions from her followers on her Instagram stories this Thursday (11) and was asked about how to improve her self-esteem. Marina, 27 years old, responded that she only learned to have more confidence over the years.

“When I was younger, I was very insecure. I had really low self-esteem. I grew up and understood my value in all aspects. I learned how much the fact that I am me, exactly the way I am, in my appearance, psychologically, etc., makes me unique.”said the actress.

Marina talks about how our society influences our self-esteem. “Society is always comparing us. And pointing out our flaws and problems. And if we fall into this trap, we will always feel inadequate. But I think: 'Be yourself, because everyone else already exists'. In other words, I try to be the best version of myself.”he concluded.

Marina in another story was praised by an internet user who asked her to post more photos on the feed and even compared her to the goddess Aphrodite. “We want to see more selfies on your feed Marina!! You're as beautiful to look at as Aphrodite was to the Greeks!” The actress simply replied “Kkkkkk”.

When asked about when the series Rio Connection will be released, Marina revealed that she still doesn't know the premiere date. Marina dedicated herself to filming Rio Connection, an international series – from Sony Internacional in partnership with Globoplay, the series was recorded in English.
