According to a survey carried out by the Reuters news agency and the Ipsos research institute released this Tuesday (2), 30% of Democratic voters believe that Joe Biden, despite being the current president of the USA, should not run for re-election.
Biden is going through a difficult time, his supporters are asking him to give up, however, he and his family remain determined with the idea of continuing the race.
Favorite Substitute
The survey also showed that in a possible confrontation, former First Lady Michelle Obama, among the names put forward to replace Biden, would be the only one who could beat Donald Trump by a large margin.
According to the survey, the result of this hypothetical dispute between Michelle Obama and Donald Trump would be a victory for the former first lady with 50% of the votes against 39% for the former president.
However, Michelle Obama has previously said that she has no intention of running for president, although her name is one of the most requested to replace Biden in the electoral race.

Withdrawal
His supporters and even members of the Democratic Party are calling for Biden to withdraw and replace the Democratic Party candidate. Biden is running for another election at the age of 81, but age is not the only problem.
After the first debate for the US presidency, Biden appeared weak and hesitant in front of Trump, who fired off false information during the debate, and Biden did not have the strength to deny it at any point.
His supporters were not happy with the defeat in the debate, and the following day, even major media outlets published editorials calling for the president to step down from running for another election and let another Democratic member take over the electoral race, fearing a Trump victory.
Among the names put forward in the poll to replace Joe are Kamala Harris, the US vice president, and California governor Gavin Newson. Of those put forward, Harris would be the one who would perform best, practically tying with Biden.
