Artists make their presence felt at the 2024 Parintins Festival with personalized looks

The 2024 Parintins Festival started this Friday (28) and there was no shortage of celebrities to attend one of the biggest events in Amazonian culture. Some former BBBs traveled to the “Island of Magic” and had the opportunity to see the famous show that celebrates the Caprichoso and Garantido oxen. Some of them even paid homage to the hosts and wore personalized pieces especially for the event.

Clothes drew attention for their creativity

The Parintins Bumbódromo was divided between the blue and red fans, who represent the honored oxen, but some people preferred to remain neutral and value both. This was the case for some celebrities, who prepared looks celebrating both cultures.

Beatriz Reis, who participated in the latest edition of the global reality show BBB and is friends with Cunhã-Poranga from Boi Garantido, Isabelle Nogueira, was creative when putting together her look for the first day of the event. She chose a red top with a large heart in the center and a blue mini skirt with several stars. The former farm worker and also former BBB, Jaquelline Grohalski, wore a neutral-colored dress, but with a heart and a star on the chest. It is worth remembering that the heart is the symbol of Boi Garantido and the star of Boi Caprichoso.

Amazonian culture was also represented in the looks

Other former BBB contestants chose to highlight the culture of Amazonas and opted for accessories from the region. Giovanna Lima and Lucas Pizane wore pieces in earthy tones. The nutritionist wore a beautiful handmade macramé dress, while the singer from Bahia wore a vest and pants, complementing the look with a white blouse. Michel Nogueira wore indigenous accessories.

Parintins Festival

The famous Parintins Festival will be celebrating its 59th anniversary in 2024 and celebrates the folklore of the Amazon region with stories of the Caprichoso and Garantido bulls. This year's edition will take place from June 28 to 30 with performances at the city's Bumbódromo, which has been nicknamed “Magic Island”. The event is part of Brazil's Cultural Heritage, recognized by IPHAN.
