Netflix spent 8 months working on a trailer featuring big stars hired by the streaming service to promote its 2022 productions during the Super Bowl halftime show. The idea began to develop when Netflix actors recorded videos in which they made greetings to promote the 2021 productions.
In June, it was decided that the actors would promote their 2022 productions within the roles they play in the platform's series. The trailer featured Mark Ruffalo and Ryan Reynolds (The Adam Project), by Jennifer Lopez (The Mother) and Ryan Gosling (The Gray Man). Watch the trailer below:

While Mark Ruffalo, Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Lopez filmed the trailer while their films were in production, Ryan Gosling and other celebrities returned to their roles after the films they worked on finished production. Also appearing in the trailer was Jamie Foxx (Day Shift), Chris Hemsworth (Spiderhead), Jason Momoa (Slumberland), Lindsay Lohan (Falling For Christmas), Tyler Perry (A Madea Homecoming), Marlon Wayans (Boo!), Chris Evans (The Gray Man), Queen Latifah (End of The Road), Adam Sandler (Hustle), Mark Wahlberg (Me Time) and many others.

The trailer has nearly 14 million views, and Netflix's chief marketing officer, Bozoma Saint John, said the platform wants its marketing to be as entertaining as the works produced by the streaming service. The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show will feature appearances by Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre and Eminem. The event is scheduled for tomorrow (February 13).
