American singer Kehlani announced through her social network on Instagram that tracklist complete of their newest project entitled “We Wait 2”, but what caught the attention of the Brazilian public was that one of the names announced present at the mixtape is that of the Brazilian singer Ludmilla, which left all fans surprised with the news.

Ludmilla will be featured on the track “After Hours”, which was originally released on Kehlani's latest album “Crash”, and was considered the album's “flagship”. However, now the track featuring Ludmilla is set to feature a new version that is different from the original.

New project

Kehlani's choice to invite Ludmilla to participate in her new project surprised Brazilian fans, however, this will not be the first time that the two singers will work together, since during Kehlani's visit to Brazil at the “Lollapalooza” music festival in 2022, the American singer met Ludmilla and Iza backstage at the festival. During Kehlani's show at the music festival, the singer invited Ludmilla to participate in the show, where the Brazilian singer sang her song “Verdinha”.

Kehlani's new project “We Wait 2” will be released this coming Wednesday (28), on digital platforms, and will feature 14 musical tracks.
