Nubank's investment fund manager, Asset Management, has launched two new ETFs in partnership with B3, the Brazilian stock exchange: Nu Ibov Smart Low Volatility B3 (LVOL11) and Nu Ibov Smart High Beta B3 (HIGH11). Based on the Ibovespa B3 Smart Beta indexes, the launches aim to encourage the development of ETFs in Brazil and have already started trading on B3 last Tuesday (16).
Diversification in the investor market
The action aims to promote the diversification of investors' portfolios in the market, according to the analysis of individual profiles. Nu Asset Management's executive director, Andrés Kikuchi, explained the decision. “When we decided to enter the ETF market, we saw this investment product category as a way to innovate in the Brazilian market and spread knowledge about this type of fund. LVOL11 and HIGH11 follow our purpose of offering investor-focused solutions, suited to the most diverse profiles and needs, complementing the process we began with the creation of the first dividend-paying ETF in Brazil, NDIV11.”he says.

Partnership between Nubank and B3
Nubank has been in partnership with B3 since 2023. The joint action created, based on the Ibovespa B3 index, the Smart beta. B3 index manager Hênio Scheidt explains that the creation was due to the analysis of market demand for specific parts of the Ibovespa B3 portfolio. “With the strategy we have in the Indexes area, we are able to develop and deliver new indicators quickly and efficiently to enable the launch of new products that are real investment opportunities, including for individual investors.”, he explains.
Nubank's launches are available to both institutions and individuals, and have a minimum investment starting at just R$100.
