The band's vocalist Faithless Maxi Jazz died yesterday (24), at the age of 65. The news was confirmed through the band's official Twitter. The cause of death has not yet been released.

Faithless was a band born in the 90s in England, mixing electronic music with several other musical genres. The project became known mainly for the talent of Maxi's vocal skills. Their first album, Reverence (1995), reached #1 on the British charts. Known for being one of the longest-lasting projects in the dance scene, the group shocked fans in 2011 by announcing their breakup.

The owners of success Insomnia were on hiatus for 4 years until 2015, when they released the remix album Faithless 2.0in partnership with big names in electronic music such as DJ Aviciiwho passed away in 2018. The group's most recent album was released without the vocalist in 2020, entitled All Blessed.

Jazz was born in 1957 in London, England, having started his career as a DJ in 1984. His last work was in 2022, when the musician collaborated with the Brazilian DJ and producer on the single Commotion. He was known for bringing his political thoughts to his band's songs, addressing issues such as immigration and poverty. Maxi was also known for being a racing car enthusiast.
