Actor Ben Affleck's discouragement at the Grammys goes viral on social media

Actor Ben Affleck became a meme after a video of his expression of discouragement during the Grammys went viral. Jennifer Lopez was invited to present the “Best Pop Album” category and her husband accompanied her, and in the video he didn't seem very enthusiastic. The couple had a reserved seat in front of the stage, they skipped the red carpet and went straight to the inside of the event. At a certain point, everyone was dancing and the actor just moved his head, very discouraged.
A video recorded Jennifer Lopez discreetly fidgeting in her seat while a song played, while the singer danced, the actor looked around with a dejected posture and gaze. After a short break in the event, due to a commercial break, the couple did not notice the presence of the cameras and the singer came close to her husband with a serious expression and whispered something in his ear. The internet public did not miss the opportunity to lip-read to decipher what was said. Some argue that she asked the actor to “give up” something, while others believe that she asked him to sit upright.

This event generated a lot of buzz, like every other year. In addition to Ben Affleck's discouragement, some Brazilians were outraged because jazz singer Samara Joy won the New Artist category, with Anitta also competing and many believe that the Brazilian should have been the winner of the night. The winner of the Album of the Year category was Harry Styles with “Harry's House” and this also caused a lot of controversy, as many believe that Beyoncé was deserving, with the success of the album “Renaissance”, even though the singer won in other categories and became the artist with the most Grammys in the history of the award, collecting 32.
