Bloomberg points to an eleven-point difference in Kamala's favor

During this election period in the United States, Democratic Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris has gained eleven points in six key states, according to a poll. After current President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Bloomberg News/Morning Consult reported that Kamala Harris is gaining ground in the electoral race against Republican Donald Trump.

Electoral race

Wisconsin is the only one of the seven states where Donald Trump has narrowed his lead over Kamala Harris, compared to Joe Biden's performance in previous polls. The online poll conducted from July 24 to 28 shows a small 11-point lead for Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in the race for the presidency in Michigan, and a two-point lead over Trump in Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada. While Trump has a four-point lead in Pennsylvania and a two-point lead in North Carolina, Georgia is tied for the two candidates.

Research and investigations

Previously, Bloomberg conducted an online poll between July 1 and 5, in which Donald Trump had a lead over Joe Biden of three points in Arizona, one point in Georgia, three points in Nevada and seven points in Pennsylvania. Biden led by five points in Michigan and three points in Wisconsin. The margin of error for that poll was three points in Georgia and Pennsylvania; four points in Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin; and five points in Nevada.

The latest poll shows a margin of error of three percentage points in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania; four percentage points in Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin; and five percentage points in Nevada.
