First show of The Weeknd's new tour is canceled

Singer-songwriter The Weeknd would perform this weekend at the debut show of his new tour “After Hours till Dawn Stadium Tour”, in Toronto, Canada. However, the presentation was canceled due to technical problems that affected the servers of the telecommunications company responsible for the event. “I was on site throughout the day, but this is out of our control due to Rogers services malfunctioning. Operations and security were compromised and I tried to do my best. This hurts me a lot, and I'm going to make this show happen, but not tonight. I know how long you've been waiting and how hard you've been working to come to the show and experience this special moment with me. I can’t wait to see you all”said the singer.

The drop in connection has already spread across the country, with Toronto being the most affected city. In addition to the failure in internet access, the interruption in the company's services affected calls and banking services. The administration of the venue where the artist's show was to take place commented on the cancellation.

Despite not having a new date for his debut show, the artist is scheduled to perform on July 14th in Philadelphia, in the United States. However, Canadian fans hope that the connection problems occurring in the country will be resolved and that the show can take place soon.
