Glow, metallic skin and intense illuminator are trends in SPFW

O Sao Paulo Fashion Week 2023 (SPFW) came with everything, bringing with it a trend that promises to shine brightly on the catwalks and in the world of beauty. We are talking about metallic, intense illuminator and glowing skin, elements that refer to the futuristic vibe of Artificial Intelligence, which conquered the catwalks of Greg Joey, Lino Villaventurabetween others.

“In Greg Joey, the inspiration was the mermaid core, but with a super gothic footprint, which is the DNA of the brand”the makeup artist Vanessa Rozan, who signed the make, said in an interview with Marie Claire. As for giving a futuristic touch, glow skin and eyes with glitter, and for the lips, colors full of nuances.

In the production of Lino Villaventura’s makeup, the smoky black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eyes, in the center of the eyelid multicolored glitter, in the eyebrows black mascara for eyelashes that helps to fill in the hair and keep them fixed upwards.

On the Meninos Rei catwalk, make-up artist Ju Coelho used metallic silver to highlight the models’ gaze, with chrome eyeliner.

On the skin, the carioca summer was the inspiration of the beauty artist Marcello Costaan orange shade was used for the production, superimposed by an illuminating pigment, with a metallic effect.

The lips also received special attention, with the use of metallic lipsticks and glosses, in vibrant and daring tones, bringing a sense of futuristic modernity.

In general, the brightness is at the peak of the most elaborate makeup, with metallic shadows in silver, gold and bronze tones, capable of adding a touch of extravagance and shine to any look.
