Juliette and Anitta: Historic Presentation in Recife

The Popline website released exclusive news for Juliette and Anitta fans: the two will perform together for the first time at “Anitta's Rehearsals” at Arena de Pernambuco, Recife, this Saturday (28).

Juliette revealed exclusively to Popline:

“Beyond the friendship we have, Anitta inspires me in countless ways. It is an immense pleasure to be able to share the stage with an artist I admire so much and who has always been a great supporter of my career (…) We have talked several times about singing together, but our schedules are very busy. The time has come and we managed to fit this date in Recife, a city I love. Besides, it has a special flavor when I perform in the Northeast, a region that says so much about me.”

The friendship between Juliette and Anitta began inside BBB 21, when Juliette, still inside the house, made several compliments to the funk singer, who reciprocated the affection by announcing her support for the sister, then hosting Juliette and her family while they looked for a house in Rio de Janeiro.

Since then, Juliette ended up being “sponsored” by Anitta, which extended to a contract with Grupo Rodamoinho, Anitta's artistic management company. As well as Anitta's participation in the production of “Doce”, a track from Juliette's debut EP.

Luísa Sonza and Nattan will also be part of Anitta's rehearsals in Recife. The rehearsals will then take place in Rio de Janeiro (29), São Paulo (February 11) and Curitiba (February 12).

Juliette is currently preparing to release more songs. While Anitta was seen recording a music video in the Tijuquinha community, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, which may feature the participation of American singer Chlöe Bailey. In addition, Anitta is also preparing for her participation in the 2023 Grammys, where she will be nominated for best new artist.
