Anitta receives diamond certification in the US with the song “Envolver”

“Envolver” is part of Anitta's fifth studio album known as “Version Of Me” released in April 2022, the album had 8 tracks in the genres of Pop, Trap and Funk carioca.

Anitta is the first solo Latin artist to reach the top of Spotify Worldwide, she has also won trophies at some of the biggest awards in the world such as VMAs and AMAs.

“Envolver” currently has more than 471 million streams on Spotify, apart from the album, and the video already has more than 458 million views on YouTube. Even after a year of release, the song is a viral success on video and music platforms.

This week marked a milestone in the history of Anitta's music, as she was certified Diamond in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America, for selling over 600,000 copies in the country.

Another thing worth highlighting is that Anitta received a Grammy Award nomination, one of the biggest music awards in the world, in the “New Artist” category with the song “Envolver”.

This ceremony in which Anitta was nominated is scheduled for February 5th in Los Angeles, in the United States.

Remembering that “Envolver” is not Anitta's only viral hit, the songs that make up the album “Version of me” such as 'Me Gusta', 'Girl from Rio', 'Ei que espera', Lobby' among others, are a huge success on music platforms.
