Zezé Di Camargo releases new single Frente Fria in music video format

The second single from “Projeto Rústico Ao Vivo” arrives on digital platforms across the country on July 6th, a work that Zezé Di Camargo saw emerge as an almost therapeutic creation throughout the confinement imposed by the pandemic, carried out in the peace of his farm in Goiás. The following day, Friday, July 7, the song will also appear in video clip format on YouTube, on the singer's channel.

“Rústico” resulted in a DVD recorded in 2022 in São Paulo and contains 27 songs, 20 of which are reinterpreted and 7 new, one of which has already been released (“Te Vi, Bebi”).

“Frente Fria” is signed by Reginaldo De Santana and was produced under the supervision of Emmanoel Camargo, with general video direction by Julio Loureiro and musical production by Felipe Duran.

To announce the new song, Zezé even posed as a “weather man” in a teaser, a brief promotional film, and made his weather forecast announcing “Frente Fria”, willing to warm up crowds.

Anyone who thinks he had fun playing the meteorologist is right on target. It was a delight, almost like child's play, especially because few professionals are as sought after by the public as those who predict whether it will be sunny or rainy.

In addition to the teaser with Zezé Di Camargo as Homem do Tempo announcing the song in a creative and innovative way, the release of the song encourages special support for the sweater campaign, through fundraising in favor of CUFA (Central Única de Favelas).
Among other actions and the artist's personal commitment to the cause, a partnership with Band FM will allow for a promotion offering a trip to Bariloche, Argentina, to those who donate coats the most.

Pre-orders for the album begin on July 4th, with release scheduled for September 1st. And among the actions with fan clubs, we will have nice personalized winter hats with the project's brand, which will also feature special filters on Instagram and Tiktok.

With his firstborn, Wanessa, as a guest, Zezé sees in “Rústico” a repertoire that strives for plurality. “There are suggestions from my producer, Felipe Duram, tips from my brother Emanoel, but the repertoire, especially in the re-recordings, was songs chosen by me”, says Zezé. “I like to sing what moves me, so this repertoire is just like that. Even the songs recommended by other people are the ones that move me a lot.”

Wanessa's presence, explains the girl's father, continues a work already done as a duo between the two, “Father and Daughter”. “We recorded wonderful things and I thought: 'Wow, having my daughter as a special guest on the DVD is a gift'. She chose two songs, it is the only participation I have on the DVD and the intention was this: to pay homage to her as the great singer she is today.”

Zezé Di Camargo also explains that the new work has a modern bias. “Just because it's called 'Rustic' doesn't mean it needs to be simple, I think it can be simple with good taste and sophisticated, and in ballet we take people from Street Dance and professionals who dance all musical genres, we don't exactly choose a specific rhythm, we mix different styles.”

“The choice for the name 'Rústico' is because our intention really is to transform this project into a Label, in which it can showcase country artists from other eras, who sing more country, more rootsy, more rustic repertoire”, explains Zezé. “Really, the market needs this, real country music, there is a vacuum. Of course, the entire album, the entire DVD, is not just that, there are current things, with modern arrangements, but he brings a way of singing and arranging that has to do with the 90s era.”

Music producer Felipe Duam celebrates: “For me, it is a huge honor to be producing this wonderful project, in which I had the opportunity to be together with Zezé at the birth of the work, which was built with us together, there on the farm, unpretentious , with videos on YouTube”.
